Stimulus (ARRA) Funds 2009-2010 & 2010-2011
The Henry County School System received stimulus (ARRA) funds for the 2009-2010 and the 2010-2011 school years. Title I, Title II, D and Title X (Homeless) received some of these funds. Funds are being used for staff development, to purchase supplies, materials,and software, and to assist homeless youth from the Henry County School System. A staff member was also hired to assist the bookkeeping department, special education department and the federal projects department. She is paid 37.5% out of Title I stimulus funds, 37.5% out of special education stimulus funds, and 25% our of general purpose funds. Her contact information is:
