Paris, TN- The Paris-Henry County Ministerial Alliance has named Henry County High School (HCHS) head football coach Josh Wolfe the recipient of the Drum Major for Justice Award. The honor was presented during the Martin Luther King Jr. Day service at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

The award recognizes individuals for their leadership and service to the community. Wolfe recently completed his first season as the first African American head football coach in HCHS history. Under his leadership, the Patriots secured a Region win and a spot in the playoffs.

Beyond his work with the football program, Wolfe is a member of the Grove/HCHS faculty. He teaches Direct Studies for students in grades 9-12, where he focuses on academic support and student development.

“Coach Wolfe’s impact on our students, both on the field and in the classroom, is a reflection of the values this award represents,” stated Director of Schools, Dr. Leah Watkins.
