NEW YORK — The Henry County High School Madrigals are returning home victorious after a stellar performance in New York, bringing back a Gold rating and the prestigious Adjudicator Award.

The Adjudicator Award is an honor reserved for ensembles that achieve an average score of 95 or higher. This win is particularly significant given the hurdles the group faced this semester, including weather delays and scheduling conflicts.

"These students rose to the challenge, putting in extra work both inside and outside the classroom—even meeting over spring break to prepare," said their director, Deanna Cook. "I could not be prouder of this group. They are incredibly talented and a joy to be around."

The group also extended a special thanks to Mr. Jeremy O’Neal for his invaluable feedback during their preparation process.
