PARIS, TN – The Henry County High School atrium was filled with celebration as senior standout Olivia Kendall officially signed her letter of intent to play both basketball and soccer at Dyersburg State Community College.
Surrounded by a large crowd of teammates, coaches, friends, and family, Kendall solidified her transition to the collegiate level following a decorated four-year career as a Lady Patriot.
Kendall has been a dominant force in Henry County athletics, earning top honors in both sports:
Soccer: District Champion, Offensive MVP, and All-District selection.
Basketball: District Champion, Team MVP, and All-District selection.
Reflecting on her time at HCHS, Kendall described her high school career as a "super fun adventure" that shaped her character. "Playing soccer and basketball made me feel so strong and part of a team," Kendall said, noting that sports played a vital role in her personal growth.
At Dyersburg State, Kendall plans to major in Sports Management, turning her passion for athletics into a career path.
